Our History

  1. The Beginning

    Founded by Pat N. Wardlaw, a one-person operation grew into a small team of adjusters.

  2. The Next Generation

    Pat Wardlaw retires and keeps the company in the family by selling to his children: Mike N. Wardlaw, Rebecca Wardlaw Meadows, and William F. Wardlaw.

  3. Going Nationwide

    A HUGE milestone is reached with adjusters from coast to coast, Wardlaw is now a nationwide claims management firm. 

    A NEW COMPANY

    Subsidiary company, Custom Data Systems, is formed using technology to serve our customers with integrity, accuracy, & excellence.

    Wardlaw Training Center and curriculum is established and our 1st Annual Adjuster conference is held.

    CATAPULT, our proprietary claims management system, goes live.

    Our growth continues as we open our 43,000 sq. foot training center and office complex in the heart of Waco, Texas.

    Wardlaw exceeded all prior years' catastrophe claims handling with our response to Hurricanes Harvey & Irma. We trained hundreds of field and desk adjusters to allow responsiveness claims management when our clients reached an unprecedented need.

    After 10 years, SecondLook reaches a total reduction in IICRC-validated indemnity for all clients to date exceeding $200 Million!

  13. Wardlaw Opens NEW 30,000 sq ft Dallas Office!
